By now you may have heard of the Bombay Community Group. If not, here is a little about us and our purpose. The Bombay Community Group is a new charity group which has recently formed as a result of The Bombay Lions Club dissolving.
WHO? Anyone who has connections with Bombay is welcome. We wish to continue to keep alive that amazing country community spirit in our ‘Place on the Hill’ as well as the great projects the Lions have set up such as the Bombay Pioneer Settlers Fun Run (now off road as the Bombay Community Group Farm Run and Walk), Bombay Anzac Service, Lions Christmas Party, and support of the school. We are lucky to have some of ‘The Lions’ who are a part of this new group to share their wisdom with us.
WHY? One of the key purposes of our group is to raise funds to give back to the groups and people of our community. It is also to bring people together. We have had two amazing nights with the "Party on the Hill" events. These were a great chance for the community to dress up, catch up and have a boogie while raising funds for community causes. Keep you eyes peeled for the next one!

We have a mixture of ages and characters, old and new to the community, and would love newcomers to join us. If this sounds like a bit of you, come along to our next meeting, these are usually held on the first Monday of each month.
