Event Information 2025

The Farm Run will start at 554 Paparata Road, Bombay with both 5km and 10 km courses. More information about the course can be found here.

As the event is being held on working farms dogs are not permitted at the event.  This includes the parking area, the race start and finish area and anywhere on the course.

​

Online Entry Fees (2025):

5km - $20, 10km - $30, Child (5-16) - $10, Preschooler (0-4) - $5

Plus online booking fee

Online entries close Thursday 20 March at 11:59pm

On the day Entry Fees:

5km - $25, 10km - $35, Child (5-16) - $15, Preschooler (0-4) - $10

Late entries will be accepted on the day if entries haven't sold out, please ensure you arrive before 9am to complete your entry form.  Late entries will close at 9:10am.  Cash payments only.

 

Parking:

Turn into 554 Paparata Road (this will be a right hand turn when coming from Bombay), there will be parking marshals to assist you, then it's a short walk to the Start and Finish area.  If you are entering in to the Pumpkin Growing Competition  please carry your pumpkin down with you.  There will be a wheel barrow available to use if needed.  If you think your pumpkin will be too big to fit in a wheel barrow please contact us beforehand and we can help you transport it from your car!

Registration:

Registration opens at 8:20am.

For all online race entries please go to the Registration tent at the Finish Line area to collect your race number.  The Pumpkin Registration and judging is also at the finish line area.

Late entries will be accepted on the day if entries haven't sold out, please ensure you arrive before 9am to complete your entry form.  Cash payments only.

Arrival Time:

The 10km race will start at 9:30am and the 5km at 9:45am.  Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to allow for the collection of race number, and for the pre-run briefing.

​

Aid Stations:

There are portaloos  located at the start/finish area and water stations around the half way point on the 5km course and at the finish line.

​

After the race:

Management and Support on the race course will cease at 11:59am.   A decision to continue will be at your own risk.

​

Experience the race and bring a picnic to enjoy at the end. Bring picnic blankets or chairs, and if it's sunny you might want to pop in an umbrella or shade tent.  We have some great spot prizes up for grabs and you will need to be there to claim your prize (details below)

Food Vendors:

  • Coffee cart

  • Strawberry Hills ice creams

  • Bombay Netball Club will be having a Bake Sale (cash only)

  • Bombay Scouts will be running the BBQ

  • Food vendors may have EFTPOS available

  • Experience the ultimate contrast therapy and recovery session with the Wellness Club. Enjoy a 20 minute contrast therapy session, starting with the sauna and ending with a dunk in the ice baths ($20).

Prizegiving:​

Presentation of prizes for 5km and 10km, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will start sometime after 11:30am, but no later than midday.

The judging of the Bombay Pumpkin Growing Competition will take place at the finish line area and winners will be announced at the prizegiving.

Spot prize winners will be drawn live and presented at prizegiving.  To enter the Spot Prize draw place your race number in the box at the finish line.  Participants must be present at prizegiving to claim their prize.  Unclaimed spot prizes will be redrawn.
